Eigenaar Peter Thiel (die ook de baas van Paypal is) is nog erger dan Musk, en is tot nu toe een miljardair die vooral achter de schermen werkt. Zijn invloed op de ideologie van Musk en Trump is sowieso al heel lang erg groot.
Palantir heeft meer grote projecten in Europa lopen: eerder kregen ze al de beschikking over álle Britse medische data van het NHS - dat wil zeggen alle medische data van alle Britse burgers.
De (vaak agressieve) naïviteit in de EU, bij zowel politici, burgers als media, is grenzeloos.

Ondertussen geen woord over de fossiele subsidies waar de Nederlandse regering voor kiest om die uit de schatkist te betalen. De aanleg van windinfrastructuur kost de komende jaren een kleine 6 miljard per jaar. De fossiele industrie krijgt ca. 37 miljard per jaar. Dat is een keuze, geen natuurwet.

Schengen ahoi! Der Bayerische Verwaltungsgerichtshof (BayVGH) hat entschieden, dass die Verlängerung von Grenzkontrollen an der deutsch-österreichischen Grenze im Juni 2022 rechtswidrig war. Der Kläger, Völkerrechtler Stefan Salomon, wurde damals im Zug kontrolliert und klagte erfolgreich gegen die Maßnahme. Das Gericht stellte fest, dass für die Verlängerung der Kontrollen keine neue ernsthafte Bedrohung vorlag, wie es der Schengener Grenzkodex verlangt. Die Entscheidung ist rechtskräftig, da keine Rechtsmittel eingelegt wurden.
