Look all I'm saying is that Truss visited the Queen and she died two days later and Vance visited the Pope and he died two days later.
I'm not suggesting in any way that right-wing nutjobs kill beloved leaders.
Correlation isn't causation, or something.
Iβd like to express my gratitude to these companies for allowing me to use their trademarked logos.
Q: βWhatβs on TV tonight?β
A: βSame old, same old.β

@Daojoan we poles have phrase: 'before there was internet, only your family knew you are moron.'
The internet didnβt make us stupid. It made stupidity scalable.
A new day. A new chance to succeed.
Every day I ask myself "Is this the day?"
Do I do the thing?
Or not.
I check off my boxes in the morning. Morning Maintenance. The Bare Minimum.
Even then not always all of them.
It's like I'm testing an internal switch.
Is it on or is it off?
Like I don't have the choice to make it one or the other.
Yet forcing it almost always fails. Catching rain in a sieve.
But sometimes?
Sometimes it works.
May your switch be on #today
Today, the world mourns the passing of Pope Francis.
He inspired millions, far beyond the Catholic Church, with his humility and love so pure for the less fortunate.
Our thoughts are with all who feel this profound loss.
May they find solace in the idea that Pope Francisβ legacy will continue to guide us all toward a more just, peaceful and compassionate world.
Autism isnβt an epidemic. It's not a disease. Itβs a natural variation in how people think β which, frankly, is a relief in a world where a lot of people don't think at all.
Iβm over 60 and have never used essential oils, which makes me wonder exactly how essential they are.
A new report concludes that:
'Three areas of UK cancer research have been hit particularly hard by its departure from the EU... They are the regulatory environment for clinical trials, the mobility of the cancer research workforce and access to research funding and collaboration'.
So, Brexit has directly contributed to one aspect of the NHS crisis, the UK's grim difficulties with matching European levels of cancer diagnosis, treatment & survival!

I went to B & Q and asked for a floor filler. They gave me a Gloria Gaynor cd.
@DoubleTreble @Michigander I hate to admit it, but these days I've progressed (?) to Darjeeling and have it black π
@Michigander and did you warm the pot?
@Michigander but the important question is whether you put the milk in the cup first, or add after the tea?
@avuko I feel that the amount of understanding/exploration of the Universe we have achieved is one of, if not the, greatest achievement of humankind.

Leaving aside whether or not this is proof of life, can we stop for a second to admire the fact we can tell with relative certainty (they are working to be more certain) the presence of two different gasses on a planet 124 light years away?!
@Andrewhinton @kylelambert allow me to introduce you to avukoβs razor, invented about 10 seconds ago:
Never attribute to ignorance that which is adequately explained by greed.
