Because I'm only seeing other #Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at #synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our #communities. We're worried, and we need #people to know what's happening to us.

Zoom is a horrifying company with a long history of causing mayhem and exposing their users to different types of extreme risks, from serving Israel (denying Palestine groups use of Zoom) to installing a web server on Macs that had Zoom installed (which *Apple* had to remove).

Now, they've updated their terms of service to allow training of AI on user content; one can't opt out of this.

Don't user Zoom. Use Jitsi Meet or Matrix or other stable, free, and open-sourced solutions.

What a delight last night it was to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem...a film punching waaaay above its weight class, with Spiderverse levels of creative, innovative animation filling every frame, a great Seth Rogen-led script team with a true feel for how teenagers actually speak feel and ARE, a bombass score from Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, a murderers' row of a killer soundtrack, and a deep deep bench of A-listers disappearing into their roles with relish. I was never a #TMNT fan (too old) back in the day; I'm a convert now. If you have kids it's a no-brainer. If you ever were a kid, this one's also likely right up your alley. Ted's score: solid A

Why we can't have nice things. This is such a sad development. Clearly #Swedish and #SeattleUniversity won't kick in the dough to save it? So a building will rot and fall apart in the heart of First Hill, and art finds one less place to thrive. #Seattle shoots herself in the foot again.
