This hawk (red tail? Cooper's? Any #birders want to tell me?) was showing up in our backyard on and off for a couple weeks last fall and on this lucky day I was able to run upstairs, grab by camera and zoom lens and get outside before it took off. Hoping it was relaxing after taking out of a few squirrels (my tomatos must be avenged!).
