Father's day is always bittersweet because my dad passed away 19 years ago.. (the baby in his arms is me :)) The last 10 years of his life was riddled with health issue after health issue and he left my mom a widow at 60 years old (I'll be 60 next March) He was really smart and had a dry wit with a smattering of goofball (I get the goofball from him) I miss him. Even after all these years. I'm thankful for the time I did have with him. #fathersday #happyfathersday #dad #today

My son has a YouTube channel for geeks called the geekly grind.. and a site he's been running for a decade -- he also sellscollectibles/comic books on the side (he's 38 :D) (his day job is in AI/ML)

Only six more followers, and I’ll finally have enough clout points to buy “Monopoly: ActivityPub edition”.

I made a (well-coordinated) LED tote and crossbody bag using the technique of 3D printing translucent tiles onto tulle and inserting them through corresponding holes in the bags' front panels. I sewed long zippers in the lining of both bags to make it easy to access the interior, and attached a flexible LED string behind the tiles with hot glue. A #Pixelblaze controller inside each bag makes it easy to run synchronized patterns. I'll be writing up a "how to" guide on them for @makemagazine.
