I’ve added death messages and expanded the part on Eurus, the east wind who brings the winds of storm!
Hi everyone! I'm sbird, and I like taking pictures of all sorts of things, whether it's nature, street, or animals. I shoot with the Sony ZV-E10 with the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8.
I am interested in #Physics and have a hobby of #programming and #gamedev
I’ve added death messages and expanded the part on Eurus, the east wind who brings the winds of storm!
I have made some levels relating to each of the four winds, or the "anemoi"!
Boreas, the north wind, bringing cold winter air. Zephyrus, the west wind, is associated with springtime and flowers. Notus is the south wind, bringing hot summer air. Eurus is the wind of storm and, according to Wikipedia, "the saviour of Sparta".

here are some more wacky images...
I bought the cheapest action camera I could find and these were the pictures it made...
Some more progress on my game about the 12 Greek Olympian gods! The Dionysus level looks really good, esp. with lighting!
You can use the power of the anemoi, the four winds, to break obstacles in front of you. Helios allows you to see things most mortals cannot. And Achelous allows you to raise freshwater from the ground to the surface.
Not pictured in the screenshots is a cool parallax background, which is a silhouette of trees and vines
The idea is that the player can use the abilities/powers of some of the greek nature deities by interacting with totems, where:
orange = Helios, the all-seeing sun god (ability to see hidden areas)
green = Gaia, ancient mother of all life (healing)
blue = Achelous, the river god of the largest river in Athens (controlling water columns?)
white = Boreas, Zephyrus, Notus, and Eurus, the winds (freezing/chilling, moving plants gently, storms and destroying crops, and capsizing ships?)
some more work on my game about the 12 olympian gods! Now I have added water columns and interactable stone totems for each of your nature deity powers. Specifically for the Dionysus level, there will be seas/rivers/waterfalls of wine that you shouldn't go in, else you drown.

@Dennis5891 doing great, thanks!
I'm making a game about the 12 olympian gods! First level will be Dionysus, the god of wine and ecstasy...

another photo I took last year, this time a kid on a bike
Three different photos, all taken at the same place. Lighting can really give you a different mood.
Hi everyone, I'm sbird and I am interested in #physics and #programming. I also have a hobby of #photography of all sorts of things.
a photo I took a while back in a zoo
in the darkness, there is #cat
If you want #photography #3Dprinting and #gaming to combine, then you'll love photographer Bastiaan Ekeler and the work he put in to a vintage Game Boy camera with a custom printed adapter.
He printed an adapter to let him use Canon EF-Mount DSLR lenses and the results are incredible. I suspect he loves #birds with most photos being on that subject.
Is it making me want a Game Boy camera? Yes. Yes it is.
Fireworks show in Disneyland ✨
There were so many people, insane to think that they all have their own lives, experiences, and struggles, but our fates aligned as we watched this amazing event! It was like an ocean of monkeys… #disneyland #fireworks #oceanofmonkeys
@McPoops Mojeek uses its own search index, so give that a try. I personally use a hosted SearXNG instance (you can choose which search engines to include and exclude!) so you might want to try that too.
