@cy I feel that. It's natural to seek comfort or blame where we can. 😞

But this kind of perspective that blames a higher power or fate or "the stars" is one that takes away our agency & responsibility to do anything about it or speak up, vote, volunteer, etc. It's a comforting cop-out.

I'm at the "hyper focus on the main quests" stage of Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Somehow work I had done weeks ago to repair #Wine on my #Linux machine resulted in the entire #Ubuntu Settings utility from vanishing.

Had to reinstall some packages to fix it.

Just why. Linux is so infuriating sometimes.

People, when you build a site, Especially in a #CMS, please change the favicon.ico (or whatever the stylesheet points to) so it's not the framework logo.

@LeonianUniverse I agree! Unfortunately too many parents in the boomer generation (my parents) and gen X (my generation) still over emphasized chores onto daughters.

It's getting better, but the fallout is still affecting us today.

And yes I think daughters should know how to check the oil, replace a light switch & fix the running toilet.

If we could actually ungender household management, I think everyone would be happier.
