Sure they are cool, sometimes with great detail, but everyone is posting essentially the same thing. Looking forward to what photographers share with creative scenes including the eclipse, not of the eclipse.

Thanks #Apple for the price increase reminder. Motivated me to save money by dropping #AppleOne and keeping only #AppleMusic. Now I am paying less than I was for the same service I was actually using. Glad to have dropped my #PlayStationPlus subscription, assuming no one gifts one to me, earlier this year after their increase too. This shit is getting ridiculous.

@mikahsargent having similar behavior with my 15 pro max connected to my car and AirPods Pro. Feel like this was a thing with previous iOS versions for a while too. Gets to be pretty frustrating. Just one more thing making me consider picking up a Pixel during one of their (likely) discounts.

@idoubtit I once made the mistake of trying to buy pseudoephedrine and insulin syringes for my cat at the same time. Pharmacist looked at me like I was an addict and wouldn’t sell them both to me. Not selling clean syringes to someone using drugs is another topic. I just crossed the street to Walgreens to finish my shopping. Was such a hassle when I was regularly taking pseudoephedrine.

@gurupanguji thanks for sharing your experience! It will be interesting to see comparisons from reviewers to see if the new Pixels are close to iPhone in those categories. I don't do much video, so as long as the video is still good at least that should be fine.

Glad to hear about the privacy controls too. That is definitely a factor worth considering.

I am also waiting to hear more on the new Pixel Watch 2. The Apple Watch and health tracking are what makes it harder for me to switch.

@ant_pruitt I read some concerning things about Temu, and others, regarding lead used in dyes of some clothing sold there. Not sure how wide spread this issue is and if they have put any other safeguards in place to prevent health hazards like this. Also not sure how common this is on Amazon and how it gets handled there.

Kinda tempted to pick up a #Pixel 8 Pro even though I just got an #iPhone 15 Pro Max. Looking forward to more camera reviews to enlighten me. Since #Apple is making me get a bigger phone to get the 5x zoom, I would prefer a mini size honestly, that opens up a lot of #Android phones in the same size range. I switched to iPhone years ago for better camera and screen, but those quality components are no longer uniquely iPhone.

@scottjohnson probably not quite as game changing, but have you tried the voxel mod to make things actually 3d?
