There's only one rule that I know of, babies—
God damn it, you've got to be kind.

I have to assume it makes sense to either its users or creators. I just like endlessly nested lists. 🤷🏻♀️
I like most things about ToDoist but having the only goal be "number of tasks completed" feels like a comically incorrect way of looking at productivity.
Entering my cicada era (shedding the parts of my old self that no longer serve me and occasionally screaming).

Yes, I have anxiety so that means the severe pain in my ovary is fine, actually, but I don't have so much anxiety that we're going to do anything that, either.
Paying $40 co-pays for frowny face worksheets is healthcare.
My favorite low-key event of the spring is seeing which color of volunteer poppy blooms first. I'm pretty sure these are two different packs from last year and the year before.

I am absolutely white trash and it was always "fun" talking to middle/upper class white liberals in the university town I went to community college in, who would say something pretty racist, and when I said something about it, they would try to 'walk it back' to classism instead. That they absolutely knew applied to me.
But no no. I'm not like /those/ Poors. I shouldn't say that about myself. (Only they get to say it.)

Yes, but I grew up with them as a hotdog or unseasoned burger side at Midwest cookouts, so being terrible is the point.
This also includes phrases like “unhoused” and “disabled.” If you can’t be in community with people living on the streets without feeling like you have to tell them they are “unhoused” or should use that term, then fix yourself. If you think you gotta tell folks with different conditions that they are “disabled,” rather than whatever they describe themselves as, fix yourself.
If someone is trying to change things so unhoused and homeless aren’t forced to live in destitution and misery, and doesn’t use the term “unhoused”, don’t be a dick about it. If someone is working to change things so disabled folks have a fair and livable society around them, worrying about whether they use what you see as the proper term first and foremost ain’t helping.
Model what words make sense to you and can be helpful for your audience and purpose. But don’t posture like your words are activism or make you virtuous.
@cosyskog
I'll look into it, thanks! I'm still trying things out to see what works.
Also any idea that is more fiddly than typing a list, forgetting I was doing that, then hoping for the best while I refresh the doc at the store... is right out.
I finally got my domain email and all my writing off Google Workspace but the silliest thing I still need is a grocery list.
I was rewriting the same doc every week and opening it on my phone. Scrivener doesn't have an Android app and even if they did, it's literally the only doc I open on my phone. I want to write it on my laptop because that's where my recipes and job files are.
Silly.
Tomato Sandwiches are #AntiCapitalist
Today's post is about #communist breadlines. Kind of. Not really.
It's about how our current system destroys diversity and the health of ourselves, our worlds, and our planet. This is a product of multiple factors such as #capitalism, specialized labor, or democratized demand.
It even destroys our tomato sandwiches.
