It seemed to me like the world completely lost the plot when doing #customersupport in public (using #socialmedia to boot) became a thing.

I don't even know where to start with why that's a bad idea, but #privacy and #cybersecurity reasons are as good a place as any, and nobody should be surprised if stuff like this happens.

Pretty much any company is a #software company these days, and should invest accordingly.

And much more importantly, know how to make those investments work, which isn't always the case, esp. with non-#technology companies.

And yes, even with "free" cloud storage you are ultimately at the whims of companies that might get sold, go bankrupt, or decide they're tired of hosting your #pictures.

So make sure you store #photos (or any other data that's important to you) in several places, and not just the #cloud.
