@thatdamnelf I magnetized all of the bases of my Necrons and love it. Not only can I transport them safely in box with a metal bottom, but the Flayed Ones are _slightly_ less likely to tip over when I move them. 😄

Multi-ped Forklift. 28mm (1:56 scale).

Scratchbuilt in mostly plastic. Designed for a near-future aesthetic.

The "hips" are a metal paint pot and the top half sits on a magnet that allows it to swivel.

The cab has a full interior with seat, controls and monitors.

And the pallets were made to fit on the forks.

I painted the top half white instead of a matching yellow to show that 2 forklifts had been combined into 1 working vehicle.

@Mycomancer haha I’ve only started 40K with 9th, and my group is narrative nerds, so we’ve been enjoying having the framework for “leveling” the units. Nothing huge really, but one of the really fun bits (for us) is the post-game where you see what good/bad happens and getting interesting upgrades or scars based on battle’s outcome. Hard to get games scheduled but good times.

@Mycomancer I’m headed to 2k, eventually. I just play in a group of friends doing Crusade so mostly 1k games but I want some options. Right now that’s looking like a second Crisis squad and some breachers waiting in the wings. But I’m enjoying painting them up. 🙂
