Na die Union will schon irgendwie Zuzug (denn mehr Angebot an Arbeitskräften hilft beim Löhne drücken), aber sie will halt selektieren können. Sie stellt sich das eher so vor wie es damals mit den „Gastarbeitern“ schon nicht war: wir wollten Arbeitskräfte, aber es kamen Menschen.

Peanut & Willow are already looking so much better after being with the foster only a couple days. Their first vet appointment is scheduled for Tues the 6th. We're expecting the bill to be $1,000+ for spay/neuter, microchip, vaxx, deworming, & addressing Willow's condition.

And if that is the standard now -AI creating the text and the human editing it for accuracy -what good is this process really? I read a lot about how AI saves #time. But if it can't produce a correct translation (and a data-driven mathematical algorithm cannot accurately understand context and cultural connotations), why would I as a translator bother to invest time into correcting it and fixing the issues AI created in the first place? Where does the time saving actually happen?

I keep reading about how #genAI is destroying #art #communities and #coders losing their jobs. I used to work as a #translator and a lot of language professionals are losing their jobs too. Wondering where this will lead in the end. I mean, are we just going to sit and watch how things go downhill? Because I also read how bad #AI handles all sorts of tasks and how it always requires a human to fix it. In translation, post-editing an AI translated text is absolutely necessary. 1/2

I hate to break this to you, but she and her like came into office by democratic means and will try to abolish these to remain in office forever.
