Found out the bookshelf speaker system I use as computer speakers is also a cassste player. I also dusted off a laptop with a mic input aux port.
Also I finished digitizing #starwars dark force rising with @tenacity, applying some nose reduction and audio normalization.

I was only able to get 5 minutes of recording before my USB capture card that I use for VHS tapes disconnected by bumping the USB cable.
Also I it was recording only in 1 channel mono audio.

Looks like I need to get a new cheap cassette player. All the old cassette players in my parents house need some maintenance and repair.
I'm not dealing with fixing them right now, that's for future me to deal with.
