Thank you @allflooby!
Thank you @lisamelton!
@L2actual Thank you - Hope Paddy and Scamp are doing well! We truly were blessed with 17+ years with our girl Jozy.
Jozy loved her nubbins.
She could catch a dogobie like a wide receiver.
Who dat? A sharpeagle.
We had our own vocabulary.
In her old age, she walked you.
Make no mistake about it.
And in those walks, she made you appreciate
bird song before sunrise
the breeze and everything it carried
the simple beauty in moving slow before the world is awake.
She brought so much joy and has left it with us
like all angels do.
@Bearded_Pip Full bloom!

Rainy afternoon and evenings call for homemade #pasta and #bruschetta!
Made some hand cut #ravioli (paired with a brown butter and sage sauce); bruschetta; a radicchio, arugula, pear and mozzarella salad; and some fettuccini noodles with the leftover pasta dough. Jozy was impressed.
Two pints of strawberries, kohlrabi, flatbread, a baguette, green onions, green garlic, and two bone-in ribeyes. Love being able to bike to our local #FarmersMarket on the weekends.
@Bearded_Pip It’s starting! Soon the pond will be surrounded by them… more photos to come for sure.

@Bearded_Pip Me too! Checking on them regularly for sure.
Meet Jenny! Jenny is one of the first faces I see after my bike ride to work. She’s a voracious reader of fantasy novels, her mug is Edward Scissorhands(!!!), and she has the best inspirational quotes on her desk.

Our local park is hosting a variety of #Louisiana #iris hybrids from a prominent historian’s collection. They are getting close to blooming!
Louisiana Irises are native to the Gulf Coast region & thrive in our wetlands and rich soils.
