Started another pair of socks (no, i have not finished the other two i'm working on, why do you ask? >.>) with some #KnitPicks #SimpleStripes color #61894 that i've had for at least a decade and a half... better late than never, right?? :D :D

The beginnings of a pair of toe-up knitted socks on 2 circular needles. The tippy-toe is a raspberry purple with white flecks, with the next stripe being in green also with albeit fewer white flecks with cyan right on the needles.

The toe increases are complete & the pattern for the foot of the sock is ready to start!

I do still live! And knit! I finished my bright green & black striped socks, finally!

And started another pair with the sock blank I dyed this summer.. it's going to be interesting to see how the colors come out 'cause i kinda didn't like how the blank looked when i was done :/

Toe increases of a newly cast on pair of 2 at a Time on 2 circular needles. The colors are vaguely blue-ish and green-ish. Subject to change.

Fiiiinally finished and wove in the ends of thess socks and am wearing them today! ^_^

It only took me *counts on fingers* almost a year ... I wound the yarn into cakes on Nov 20, 2024 ;p

2 Bright Green (the colorway's name is really Highlighter!) socks stretched out flat on a picnic table. They are nearly 19" long unstretched! Just the way I like'em!

The beginning of toe-up socks being knit two at a time. The colorway repeat is broad stripes of purple & black.

The more i look at these socks, the more i dislike how the the colors are patterning (especially the single row stripes).... So, the more I think this yarn should be a(nother) Hitchhiker instead ;p

A pair of socks still on the needles with vague fair isle patterning going horribly wrong. The colors are green, red, & white.

Because 3 pairs of socks & 2 blankets on the needles Wasn't Enough, I have started a pair of handwarmers 🤪

The pattern is Pioneer Gloves by Kelly McClure & is worked in mostly ribbing.

A pair of unfelted slippers in bulky green, blue, & yellow/green short repeat yarn. They are still on the needles waiting for the feet to be knit. You can see that I've gotten to the end of the 2 balls of yarn I was using & I don't have a full ball extra so they may have contrasting toes! ;D

Finished the heel flaps! Still haven't worked out how to do the gussets 2 at a time cuff down so I'll probably do them individually and then go back to 2aaT.

A pair of oversized slippers in green, blue, blue/purple, & yellow still on the needles with the heel flaps at the top & the cuffs at the bottom

Decided I needed an alt pair of slippers for when my current pair are undergoing maintenance (washing, soles re-applied), so I started those today!

The yarn is Iceland (color Seafom) by Crystal Palace Yarns (discontinued, alas) & the pattern is Cat Bordhi's Indoor Felted Boots from her Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles.

Got the cuffs going, and of course, I'm doing them Two at a Time ^_^

Knitted cuffs in bulky yarn on 2 circular needles on my lap. The colors are short repeats of green, white, blue, & blue/purple.

The 2 balls of the yarn are also in my lap below the knitting.

I was a little alarmed when the gray stripe showed up but then was pleasantly surprised when the patterning in blue showed up! As I said, I had bought this yarn in 2009 so either I didn't realize what I was getting (doubtful) or had I completely forgotten (Highly Likely)... either way, a nice unexpected treat ^_^

Knitted toes & the beginning of the foots (yes, I mean foots) on 2 circular needles. The striping is yellow, gray (wanting to be lavender when it grew up) & bright green. Next gray stripe comes with blue patterning in an almost Fair Isle kind of way.

With the rainbow socks done, the next pair are on the needles! I bought this yarn in 2009, so I think it's About Time it became socks, don't you?

I'm not great on mending, but fixing. Give me a mistake in #knitting: Challenge accepted.

For example that one time when I did "Extreme 2-in-1 Socks" by Kory Stamper from @knittymag http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/FEATextreme2in1.html
Of course I messed up by wrapping the yarn from the inner sock around a stitch from the outer sock.

I dropped that st about 20 rows down (of course that was on a decrease line) and worked everything back up.
