@thibaultmol In German: Aktivisti haben heute beim CCC erneut auf eines aufmerksam gemacht: Betroffenen muss geglaubt werden!
Dabei wurden Flyer verteilt mit folgendem Inhalt:
“Patriarchale Strukturen bekämpfen - Betroffenen Glauben.
Trotz wiederholter Fälle von (sexualisierter) Gewalt aus den eigenen Reihen hat der CCC keinen angemessenen Umgang gefunden. Statt Betroffene zu unterstützen und Täter auszuschließen, bleiben diese Teil der Community und dürfen weiterhin Veranstaltungen und den Kongress besuchen.
Diese Haltung zeigt ein strukturelles Versagen im Umgang mit sexualisierter Gewalt und spiegelt patriarchale Machtstrukturen wider. Sexualisierte Gewalt entsteht aus Machtungleichgewicht und darf nicht als „Missverständnis“ oder beidseitiger „Konflikt“ relativiert werden. Solches Verhalten schützt Täter*innen, unterdrückt Betroffene und reproduziert Ungleichheit. Die Folgen sind gravierend: Betroffene werdeausgeschlossen, verlieren Raum zur Verarbeitung und erleben erneute Traumatisierung. Ein Awareness-Team und eine Schiedsstelle bringen wenig, wenn Täter im Ergebnis weiter willkommen sind und darüber hinaus eigene Schutzräume zugewiesen bekommen!

Activists today at the CCC have once again drawn attention to one thing: those affected must be believed!
Flyers were distributed with the following content:
“Fighting patriarchal structures - Affected faiths.
Despite repeated instances of (sexualized) violence from its own ranks, the CCC has not been properly dealt with. Instead of supporting those affected and excluding perpetrators, these remain part of the community and are allowed to continue to attend events and the Congress.
This attitude shows a structural failure in dealing with sexualized violence and reflects patriarchal power structures. Sexual violence arises from an imbalance of power and should not be related as a "misunderstanding" or a bilateral "conflict". Such behavior protects perpetrators, suppresses those affected and reproduces inequality. The consequences are grave: those affected are excluded, lose space to process and experience new traumatization. An awareness team and a referee does little when perpetrators are more welcome as a result and assigned their own shelters!
