@marreg Ich selbst nutze aus Prinzip @torproject / #TorBrowser sowie #LynxBrowser über #Tor und namecalle alle Firmen öffentlich, die ihre Webseite nicht damit kompatibel halten!

@Jeffrey That's a good question.

I could only refer to folks like @meerschweinchen83 and @hspmauli and ask them about what they use for #TextToSpeech and #accessibility.

In terms of accessing the #Internet, one may want to consider the combination of #LynxBrowser, a #TUI / #CLI browser + @ActionRetro 's #FrogFind, which is an "#AccessibilityProxy" in that it allows browsing the web on ancient machines and said browser:
youtube.com/watch?v=c_v2_vTogS

You can give it a try at:
frogfind.com

One can even #SelfHost #FrogFind, since it's #OpenSource:

@A11yAwareness also it shouldn't be said but #AbleistWebdesign like that might very much violate #Accessibility laws and be a form of illegal #discrimination against #disabled users!

The sad part is that stuff like #FrogFind as an #AccessibilityProxy is kinda necessary these days and every website that discriminates against users of #LynxBrowser and/or @torproject #TorBrowser should be illegal to even host!

@freeplay @ActionRetro @valrus well, that site is literally HTML 1.1, and I'm shure there was some #GitHub as it's not just an embedded #DuckDuckGo search but also a #AccessibilityProxy that removes all the ballast and bloat.

Tho I'd be curious how good it works with screenreader applications...

Maybe @meerschweinchen83 can take a look at it and forumate an opinion on how accessible it really is...
