I don't need to be validated by others. Call me HE, SHE, IT, or a man, a woman, a dog, a cat, a potted plant... If you don't know my name already, it doesn't matter to me what you call me... but if that sort of thing matters to you, upon meeting someone, tell them so they don't have to guess and insult you because they're not mindreaders. #nouns #pronouns #adjectives #objectivelyindifferent

"If you get him away from 'very, very, very' ... you know, the #adjectives ... they're unfamiliar to him and they sort of spill out, and he goes too far," #Barr said. "He's not very disciplined when it comes to what he says."
Shut up. You voluntarily worked for him. You knew what he was. You did it anyway. If you had any decency you'd never open your mouth in public again as #penance for being duped by a toddler.

I think "minuet" as used here is a #typo that was meant to be "minute", but somehow it still works for me as "minuet".
This #clustering of #nouns and #adjectives makes for one of the most jarring #headlines I've read in a long time. It took a minute to parse it without knowing anything about the story.
Need a #poem to brighten your day? Head on over to my blog where you'll find my latest #poetry post, featuring 'Life' by Charlotte Brontë (1816-1855).
It's a delightfully optimistic and positive poem, just what we need on hump day 😃
The post includes #vocabulary exercises on #adjectives and #adverbs; have fun with those! 🤓

Your life isn't dependent on your experiences. It is dependent on you and what you do with the experiences you have in your head.
Your perception is fully your choice and under your control in every minute.
Your perception is not pre-determined.
Your perception should not be based on what everybody else thinks.
Your perception is affected by the pain you hold onto, but this is something that you can manage and learn to work with.
Your perception can and should be separate from your judgement of the situation as good or bad. Judgement is the ego getting in there and messing with your perception. When you take control of your perception, you don't have to fight with your ego. The goal is not to remove judgment. The goal is to understand the judgement and how it affects our perception.
The situation can be bad, but if you control your perception then you can find the reason for the experience and actually end up being grateful for it. This helps keep you out of the stories of blame, shame, guilt, and victimization.
The experiences just are. They happen. Without all the pain and drama, what I call color that you add in, it's just a story of who said or did what. If you didn't add all the adjectives it would be really boring. Try taking all the adjectives out of your favorite novel. How much fun is that to read? It's not right? So do the same with your life. Take the adjectives out. What does that do to your perception?
The color is a filter over your perception. That filter isn't all that helpful to you. It certainly makes things interesting to watch, but it skews your perception, creates pain, and causes you to be upset.
You may not be able to control the experiences you have in your life but you can control your perception of them. When you learn to do that, you will immediately feel better.
Love to all.
Della

Does this sound familiar to you?
Pay close attention to #adjectives. The people lying or trying to have their way irregardless of the truth tend to use a lot more of them those whose story adds up.
Adjectives are often used by #malicious people to conjure up emotional reactions, steering people toward their point of view.
