Been kinda jealous of my friends across the pond with their fancy #BBCBASIC ever since my #atari8bit days. #ataribasic is awesome but... Shall we say, spartan and spare? :)

@TechCowboy ported the #Atari8bit #FujiNet Reversi from #AtariBASIC to #Apple2 #AppleSoft BASIC. Since it speaks the same protocol, it can play with Atari users, just fine. :) #retrocomputing #retrogaming :)

Lately I've been enjoying a really good #atari800 emulator on a machine running #ubuntu with #linux .

The Atari 800 continues to impress me. It was designed with the hooks needed to work with future devices, storing data on tape cassettes, floppy disks, and a hard disk now emulated via my Linux file system.

But dang #AtariBASIC is as slow as it is powerful.
