@AenBleidd Hey, I don't know if I'm the first to propose this, but:

There should be a module to automatically turn #BOINC on and off depending on the current supply situation of (green) electricity in one's local grid, e.g. by querying for current local KWh price.

Effects: 1. Fewer CO₂ emissions, 2. Fewer costs for people with smart meters, 3. Old hardware stays cost-effective longer, 4. At scale, more renewables can be added to the grid without wasting their capacity during peaks.
