Snuck into the garage earlier today for a small bit of soldering time, and got #BalloonBox put together. Loaded on an Arduino blink sketch to make sure things were a-okay, and we're off to the races. Now I need to get the switches all configured in MobiFlight for flight simulator and build an enclosure.

My first PCBs arrived and they look really great! One step closer to my #flightsim #BalloonBox.

Laying out the faceplate for my #BalloonBox flight sim controller. Thinking of sending this off to the PCB fab as well with just a white solder mask and black screen print, no electrical bits. PCBWay also has aluminum substrate with clear mask, which would be nice, but it's pricy.

Test fitting components on a 1:1 printout of #BalloonBox PCB.

Getting close to finished on the design of my first #arduino powered PCB. Will send off to manufacture in a few days.

This will be a custom button box for balloon flying in #msfs with #MobiFlight.
