Are you still thinking about getting a #3DPrinter? What brands are looking good to you? I've got some recommendations and contra-recommendations. I'm a big fan of #Prusa because of their (mostly?) #OpenSource stance on things, although I've been decently happy with my #SOVOL printer, which was both inexpensive, and also mostly open.
I'd recommend staying away from #BambuLabs, as they're trying to become the #Apple of #3DPrinting, and I absolutely mean that as an insult. XD
Re: Laptops really being "portable computers," I recall [referring to] the Classic all-in-on Macs as laptops, so I guess that should work both ways! ;)

I think Bambu Labs quality control of their 3D printer filament has gotten a lot worse.
I’m noticing tangling filament when unspooling, gumming up for the matte PLA, things like that.
I noticed a couple months ago a newer, cheaper-looking design for their refill boxes. I have a bad feeling they went with a cheaper supplier that doesn’t make as good filament, and isn’t wound properly for refills either. Going to look at other brands.

Printed some upgrades for the printer today
Going clockwise, we have a do-dad to make removing the tubes easier, then a new poop bin, needed a bigger one with the AMS Lite, then an arm for the external spool holder (in case we want to use some exotic filaments) and a little guide to help get the plate on easier
Anyone having issues with the new Bambu Labs BambuStudio on Mac and it not showing video?
Temporary setup for the AMS Lite so we can get it up and running, but once the screws arrived it’s being top mounted

The second package from Bambu Labs arrived and guess who is the numpty that forgot to add the top mount screws to the order, this guy!

You can tell that they do not receive functionally unlimited money from the Chinese government for marketing (and marketing only!) like #Bambu does because the content flood on #YouTube is much less
The upgrade that Lindsay & Megan bought has arrived, but alas the package with a new cool plate and the screws to attach it to the top of the printer, have been delayed by DPD until at least tomorrow
