I now know what this screen means. #beaver county stockyards.

This is the beaver's main focus. You can see the edge of the dam but what is not apparent in this image is how long or high this dam is. It transformed what used to be a narrow little creek into a wetlands, so when the area has gone through drought, this area as maintained its lushness.

Looking at a culvert that is built into the side of a pond, with a big metal grate covering it. Inside there is a lot of plant material and outside we see a lot of floating branches. A bend in the metal allows the beaver to get inside to directly plug the hole.

A beaver in the process of trying to dam that big water leak and make it shut up. :)

This was quite a war between the beaver and the city works people. At times the pond would flood the nearby walking trails.
