My mobile APRS Digipeter doesn’t look suspicious at all… once up and running it pulls 0.11 Amps. With that 4.5Amp battery it should last 36 hours at 90% efficiency give or take. Loving my new setup of 100W solar panel to #WestMountainRadio Epic PWRgate to #Bioenno battery and RigRunner. Now aggravated by things that aren't 12VDC :)

New battery on order (#Bioenno #lifepo4 with a matching charge controller). This should unlock the ability to use one more radio, a 50W/10W/5W old Kenwood TM-261A 2m mobile rig (late 1990s vintage). It wants max 11A amps on tx, more than my existing power supplies can handle.

I'll put this purchase in the "emergency preparedness" bucket, so that I have a stronger battery power source for #SKYWARN activations. I do still need to work on the 2 meter outdoor antenna to match.

Here's a look at something that I created in 2021 when I had energy to burn on pandemic projects - setting up an #Icom #ID5100, a #RaspberryPi, and a #BioEnno battery in a #HarborFreight ammo can.

I designed and 3D printed a frame assembly that houses the radio body, a Pi Zero W, a watt meter, BioEnno battery, antenna, charging cables, headset, handheld mic, and all the associated shovels, rakes, and implements of destruction.

This year I'd like to do something similar for my #Yaesu #FT891
