The vegetation is in late-summer / early autumn colours: browny green but still quite a lot of plants about. The hill is on the edge of a ski centre so some ski infrastructure is in the background. There are also two grey stone drainage passages just behind the reindeer.

A day out back in my old office with Moray. Our old office, because Moray usually came to work with me.

Hot hazy sunshine above an inversion. Lurcher's Crag and the Northern Corries to Cairn Gorm. I used to be up here several times a week, now love just wandering without any particular objectives.

On a rocky hillside Moray the dog is looking down into a valley several hundred metres below.

On a grassy heathery hill, the deer grass is turning a bronze colour, a stream running down a small valley. Moray the dog is looking at the camera. In the hazy distance the cloud is filling the valley, with some hills poking out further away.

Moraqy the dog stood on a rock looking over the edge into a wide corrie. The ground is grassy and bouldery. There is a loch in the distance in the haze.

Moray the dog stood next to a well built summit cairn. The ground is rocky. Blue sky and haze in the distance.

Today, I took a walk around #lochMorlich. There were some lovely views of the #mountains but I particularly liked this view of #Cairngorm where you can see the #funicular railway and ski slopes.

Day out with Moray in my old office yesterday. I've been retired from guiding for 3 years now but it's great to get out and wander in familiar territory over #CairnGorm and #BenMacdui.

I also do path monitoring: reporting on issues with some of the well used paths on the hill - mostly path widening and erosion - so that repairs can be carried out.
