I'm not going to blame Premier Ford too hard for the U.S. president's tantrum over Ontario's latest anti-tariff TV commercial in the States.
Yes, our premier overreached (look, we aren't trilled when Americans fund political ads in Canada either), and yes, he's a self-avowed Reagan fanboy 🤮, but the rest of the world can't keep tiptoeing around an elderly American kleptocrat's brittle ego. It's not sustainable.
The U.S. president is always going to change his mind (or just forget what he said the day before). In 2025, no trade agreement with the U.S. is worth the toilet paper it's printed on.
