Troubleshooting: My car alarm kept going off intermittently at night, again.

Very insistent this time. Key fob button mashing didn't help. Idling only suppressed it while the engine ran. Battery post was super corroded, so I cleaned that.

Quiet so far. *Fingers crossed*

car alarms should be banned. I'm working from home and get totally distracted. It sounds for 20 alarms or is set so sensitive a passing car sets it off. And then a patrol car comes by and its not alarming. Assuming I've identified the car. Not worth reporting.
