This Is A Colour Seascape Photo In Landscape Format. Covering The Lower Two Thirds Is An Expanse Of Dark Blue Calm Sea. To The Right Of Centre Is The Stern Of A SeaCat Fast Ferry Under Way. The View Of The SeaCat Is Aligned So None Of The Sides Are In View, Just The Stern. Aft Of The Ferry Is A Mix Of Blue Ocean And White Froth From The Powerful Water Jet Nozzles. The Ship Being A Catamaran Has Two Parallel Hulls Separated By Five Or So Metres With Two Main Decks And A Bridge Above The Upper Deck. The Aft Section Of Both Decks Are Open And Passengers Can Be Seen. Some Distance Ahead Of The Ferry Is A Tall Mountainous Ridge That Stretches From The Left To The Right Margins. On The Left Side A Little Late Spring Snow Can Just Be Made Out. Above The Sky Has A Slight And Very Light Orange Hazy Tint To It.
The Location: Santa Catalina, California. The Body Of Water Is The San Pedro Channel (The Pacific) And The Mountain Range Is The San Gabriel Mountains. The Ferry Is The 'Jet Cat Express' Bound For Long Beach (2015).

Pretty cool. Australia's just built the World's largest electric vehicle for an international ferry route in South America. Judging by the livery China's had a lot to do with it.
So that's international cooperation to improve quality of life & climate.
