GM Recall Alert!
General Motors is recalling 597,630 trucks & SUVs in the U.S. due to possible V8 engine failure, which could increase crash risk. Affected models include top-sellers like the Chevy Silverado with L87 V8 engines.
Concerned owners can call GM or visit nhtsa.gov using recall ID 25V-274 for details.

FYI, if you drive a #Hyundai made between 2009 and 2018 there are recalls related to the the brake lines. Our car (2013) isn’t included as we have a GT model, however, we had this exact issue happen in early December. Luckily it happened at a safe speed (parking lot across the street from our mechanic, handy!) but still. Check if your car qualifies for repair - not all makes/models/years do, there is a list here:
