Nononono that's not how the #immuneSystem works! I think your very rational point regarding "?what must be set to zero for this to make sense to a systems-architect" is a most excellent one. Any degree of immunity in #healthcare workers contributes to transmissible pathogens being, well, less-transmitted. When these folks are spending all their time caring for the sick and infirm, that's a lot of moments of reduced-transmission (into a ripe breeding-ground for the pathogen) that happen as a result. Don't even get me started on what happens when a whole #hospital ward changes status from some sort of "normal" status to some sort of "infectious" status. There are a LOT of things that have to be valued at (or near) zero for this to make sense.
Also keep in mind that exposure to the pathogen or the vaccine carries some risk... These folks are willing to take that risk - essentially - for free! What a treat.
But wait there's more! These healthcare workers are governed by a famously unsympathetic regulator, who will have little sympathy should standards have fallen because n of the workers were off sick. Those who do go into work are willing to carry that risk, also for free! And even more, some of them might be feeling a bit rubbish too, making it even less probable they can meet those regulatory standards. And they're willing to carry that risk for free too!
I think there's a heap of stuff being valued at zero here, and this is just that which is apparent in a very superficial rant...

PEZZI DI DISCARICA nasce da un'esigenza di aggregazione e apertura e per mantenere vivo lo spirito di partecipazione, proprio di GMC.
Prendendo il nome da un mix di location e contenuti, PEZZI DI DISCARICA vuole dare spazio ad ogni genere di cultura e contenuti che vengono dal basso.
È quindi una giornata all'insegna della buona e cattiva musica ma non solo, contraddistinta da uno spontaneo carattere underground, una giornata dedicata allo stare insieme senza troppe pretese.
Si è quindi deciso di lanciare una chiamata alle arti riguardante il logo, l'adesivo e la locandina (grafica di fondo) del festival, dedicata a chiunque abbia voglia di esprimersi e prendere in mano una matita.
I disegni piú rappresentativi verranno usati per la creazione della locandina e dell'adesivo, mentre il logo sarâ a disposizione di un "mini" laboratorio di serigrafia durante la giornata, dove si avrâ la possibilitá di stampare la propria maglietta con le proprie mani.
Non ê un concorso e non si vince niente a parte un sano senso di partecipazione e supporto (e magari qualche birretta).
Tutto il materiale deve essere inviato a pezzididiscarica@tracciabi.li entro e non oltre venerdî 31 LUGLIO 2026.

Quest'anno per il "vol.6" (sesta edizione), vorremmo dare la possibilitá, a chiunque fosse seriamente interessato, di creare installazioni di qualsiasi genere utilizzando proprio "pezzi di discarica", quelle cose che un occhio troppo concreto potrebbe chiamare banalmente "rifiuto" o "immondizia".
Vorremmo creare un contorno al festival. Come??Decidiamolo insieme, in base alle esigenze di tutti.
Perché "ART contest no contest"??
Non sará assolutamente una gara, anzi sará una possibilitâ di cooperazione, ma ci auspichiamo comunque di vedere tutta l'energia propria di una competizione!!

a Volania di Comacchio, in via Bocchetto Marenghino n° 58.
Giorni e orari da decidere.
Vorremmo decidere tutti insieme come procedere, quindi se fare il giorno/i stessi o prima del festival, se fare ognuno la propria installazione, o farne una sola di gruppo, o fare laboratori creativi per grandi o bambini, che genere di rifiuti usare, solo uno specifico o un misto e largo alla fantasia, come assemblarli...insomma, possiamo decidere tutto!!
Le opere create verranno in seguito dotate di targhetta esplicativa e lasciate in loco, in modo da creare un piccolo museo a cielo aperto, aperto e libero.
Le opere verranno lasciate cosî al deperimento naturale fino alla prossima edizione, dove potranno essere smaltite o riciclate per crearne di nuove.
