Do you enjoy the process of worldbuilding?
Enjoying isn't the right word, most of the times I love it but as with characters it often just pops up I my head & doesn't go away anymore. Instead it starts a life of its own, this is how Cube world started out, Nacht des Mahr, Star Ryde, my DND characters, my Cyberpunk Characters, etc a simple spark is enough to turn into a wildfire of ideas & inspiration can come from everything. Listening to music & seeing a tribal design somewhere suddenly I think of a person dancing tribal designs into reality. Stupid word puns created a Shaman inspired by South American folklore & music. The Necrodancer, a world without Iron in which ropes replaced most of the metal stuff, see world a giant ey ball in space or a world on which dragons & princesses are switched. I had a magical academy story (like the unseen university) because of a drop of milk in my coffee.

As I've mentioned before, these are backstories. I was originally planning to end with her getting the tickets and being all adorably hopeful, but I was a little sad, because I knew the LI was slated to break her heart. (You can't have a second chance romance story without people blowing their previous attempt together.) BUT now she makes a new friend who I think is going to wind up being important to her, so I got to end optimistic as well. :)

I wrote a scene with friends who want to go to college together but are looking for very different things in a school.
