Illustration of the three potential axillary meristem fates.Between-species (n = 22) relationships for mean single leaf dry mass (a, c, e), and for mean leafing intensity (b, d, f)—both recorded from control plants—versus relative mean values (under treatment [T] versus control [C] conditions) for fecundity (a, b), total bud bank (c, d) and total vegetative dry mass (e, f), respectively.

Y ahora el #clipping no clipping. Han despublicado (por algún motivo que desconozco pero puedo presuponer) la noticia en La Voz, publicada hace 23 horas (según el caché de google).

A little thing I made on @codepen.io: breathing with `shape()`
codepen.io/thebabydino/pen/vEE

`shape()` is supported in Chrome 135+ and Safari 18.4+.

Firefox 126+ supports it for simple shapes (but not for this demo) when setting thelayout.css.basic-shape-shape.enabled to true in about:config.

I have updated my squircle icon example to use the new `shape()` function (supported by latest Safari and Chrome versions), finally making the clip path responsive. 🥳

The app icon is scaled down to a size of 60 pixels and the clip path scaled down properly.Screenshot of the squircle clip path in Firefox. The app icon shows the Mozilla logo, with a range input to control the icon size, and a reset button at the bottom.

The app icon is scaled down to a size of 60 pixels, but the clip path maintains its original size of 200 by 200 pixels.

Guess it’s about that time to stop lurking and start posting.

Music to get your circuits and boards fired up. Sounds to get yourself ready for some hard years coming.

`clip-path` or `mask` are applied after `filter`.

This means we cannot clip/ mask, then add a `drop-shadow()` on the same element for the clipped/ masked shape.

We need to apply the `filter` on a parent of the clipped/ masked (pseudo-)element.

codepen.io/thebabydino/pen/BRR

Diagram of how browsers apply filter and clip-path when they’re set on the same element. First the drop-shadow() filter is applied on the initial rectangular box, then the element with drop-shadow() is clipped, cutting out the drop-shadow() too.Screenshot of the linked demo showing how applying the filter on the parent of the clipped (pseudo-)element can solve the problem if this parent has no other visible parts (borders, backgrounds, shadows).
