We meet the third Saturday of the month, except for May (World Collage Day is the 2nd Saturday) and December (winter holidays). Once a quarter we have a hybrid meeting, with some folks meeting in person at IPRC).

The abstract, surreal collage uses art depicting a person in Renaissance dress standing on an open book, a statue of a woman missing both arms and head bound in rope, Annie Doctor at the upper right is nice except for an elaborate headdress and the makeup they’re applying. Bits of metal, Celtic jewelry, a gilded box (Fabergé?), a drop of silver, and the neck of a violin are also used.

A new collage I created for a #SpecialAgentCollageCollective mission. This mission is called Philatelic: Macroscale. Mission success is a collage that’s 7” or 18cm at its longest side and that begins with a postage stamp.

I feel like I had some difficulty focusing on the task at hand. I installed an external drive on my router and for some reason iPad doesn’t show the actual preview images so it’s kind of a stab in the dark to find what I want. But it does make for some interesting restrictions on time versus quantity…
