A reddish brown gravel pathway leads the viewer to a decorative iron gate in the middle distance. Green hedges line the pathway on both sides, while on the inner side of the hedges are some beautiful flowers, mostly purple in colour, with a couple of pinks and a white flower bush towards the end of the path. Larger, round green shrubs cut into a round shape are growing at the end of the hedges, just before the gate, partially blocking the grey stone pillars that are sitting either side of the gate. The sky overhead is mostly covered in greyish white clouds, with just a bit of blue peeking through.
During the recent trip to Scotland with my wife we visited the lovely Dunrobin Castle on our way from Wick to where we where staying near Invergordon. The gardens were a big draw card for us, and they are, indeed, very lovely.
