Reading up on EU Digital Infrastrucure Consortium #EDIC. Really great to see a block working on Open solutions to digital sovereignty. Really impressed, actually, at Germany on their #openDesk solution. (Complementing the years of Work put in by Munich with their IT woes). I know TUDelft are going with openCloud (or nextCloud).
Interestingly openDesk seems cool as one of its apps (#Element ) list CyberEssentals and other ISO standards for compliance. ( not it sure if this extends to rest of openDesk)
More so openDesks pricing models are interesting: community (you do it); enterprise (we host); and sovereign (we help you host).
I do wish work would consider going sovereign (at least enterprise). Perhaps this would be cheaper than Office365 and with better tooling…
