The #EuropeanCommission supports multi-country projects with a programme called European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC). On 13 June already, France mentioned the "Digital Commons" #EDIC currently in the making, which in principle could also support a sovereign operating system such as #EU_OS.

The EDIC should be launched this summer with France 🇫🇷, Germany 🇩🇪, Netherlands 🇳🇱 , Italy 🇮🇹 and Slovenia 🇸🇮! 🥳

Wat is er nodig om meer van dit soort opensource projecten te realiseren? Het begint bij een andere manier van werken, waar niet alles eerst in dikke rapporten moet worden vastgelegd en wellicht is er ook een andere manier van funding nodig, geeft de spreker vanuit Zendis (Duitsland, OpenDesk) aan.
