Wasn't planned but to my surprise I was asked to conduct a familiarisation flight on the BR23 915 IFR. I guess it's real name is even longer. And so are the checklists which make every A320 look pale...
Holy moly.
Bottom line it is nothing but a microlight.

To be allowed to fly aircraft (for which you don't need a type rating) with electronic flight instruments (EFIS), you need differences training. So far, so good.

But where exactly has EASA defined what EFIS actually is?

I'm not looking for a "feeling" or "I know it when I see it", but the place where EASA has codified it, either in the regulation itself or in AMC/Guidance.

Um Fugzeuge, für die man kein type-rating braucht, mit elektronischen Fluginstrumenten (EFIS), fliegen zu dürfen, braucht man eine Unterschiedsschulung. So weit so gut.

Wo genau definiert die EASA, was ein EFIS ist?

Ich brauche hier kein "Bauchgefühl", oder "ist doch klar", sondern die aufgeschriebene Definition, entweder in der Richtlinie selbst oder in AMC/Guidance. Ich kann da nichts finden.

So, #Garmin does not offer Visual Operation Charts for Europe for their best-selling light-aircraft #EFIS, the G3X Touch. I asked their support explicitly because I couldn't find it. If you want it, you need a ChartView key, and purchase the charts separately from #Jeppesen.
