Blogkino: Kagemusha (1980)

Heute zeigen wir in unserer Reihe #Blogkino einen weiteren Klassiker des japanischen #Samurai Films: Kagemusha. Als ein Kriegsherr stirbt, wird ein Dieb gebeten, ihn zu ersetzen, und wird dann von dem Geist des Kriegsherrn und seinen eigenen Ambitionen verfolgt. In seinem späten Meisterwerk „Kagemusha“ kehrt Akira #Kurosawa zum Samurai-Film und zu einem Hauptthema seiner Karriere zurück: dem Spiel zwischen Illusion und Realität. Kurosawa lässt die Pracht des feudalen Japans und die Prachtentfaltung des Krieges aufwendig wiederaufleben und schafft ein historisches #Epos, das auch eine Meditation über die Natur der Macht ist. Oliver! stuck in my head as an #earworm (thanks #EPoS). This is worse than normal as - in addition to my normal singing inability - this song is
1) far too high for my note to even pretend to reach
2) has lots of long holds that my lungs can't even pretend to reach
3) I find it a bit dull - good in the show, but...

Hahaa, update on this #Review of the #Epos #Adapt660

I added 50cm (20 inch) USB 3.0 extension cable between the computer (which is on the table next to the monitor) and the dongle that came with the headset, and that fixed all the issues I had 😂 .

I don't know why this is the case, as I tried the dongle in various ports and on different computers and they all the same issue, but now with this extension cable it works like charm. No connectivity issues, audio quality is much better and so on.

My #Review of the #Epos #Adapt660 Headset: Don't buy if you use Windows.

The quality is decent, not great, not bad. The fact that there is no button or switch for power is a weird choice (you have the fold the headset to power them on/off).

Audio quality is bad.. like really bad... period poor connection issues, robotic noise in Teams calls and just poor range for wireless (BT issue).

The EPOS connect software on PC is bad and on mobile bare minimum.

For 300€ these are not worth the money.
