Hey businesses! If you're going to charge #postage / #delivery, then you absolutely should be giving your customers a choice.

Charging £5 for a crap service you have a contract with, but is totally incapable of finding my place and dumps parcels in nearby streets, doesn't cut it.

Either it's free and you accept that your delivery service is shite and will cost you money & customers. Or you charge and the customer chooses a service they are confident can deliver!

Well... fuck me... the #Evri parcel arrived directly to my slightly non-trivial off-street behind-another-building porch a day earlier than the earliest expected (was supposed to be a 2-3 biz day delivery.)

So my only complaint is I wasn't expecting it so soon and didn't get any notification that I should be expecting it.

I suppose if you have an Evri delivery scheduled it may be worth checking out their current app and configuring the precise delivery location with the map pin, and maybe safe place with up-to-300-word description.

Just ordered another Arduino Nano R4 board (and a few other goodies) from #ThePiHut ... And they offered me an alternative from #Evri.

Cost a few bob more, but probably worth it!

Miraculously, my #Evri delivery from Lloyds Pharmacy arrived on time and correctly on my porch.

I'm still staying well clear of any company that uses Evri in the future, so Lloyds Pharmacy is still on the bad list.

I was really happy with #Evri until this - they were always quick & efficient. But this farce has changed that.

I am avoiding using companies who are using them or I will get anything I need delivered to the store.

Their customer service is woeful.

From speaking to many people this doesn't seem to be teething problems for #Evri in the area that Mallusk (NI) distribution centre serves. In my household alone - two packaged so far - One was delivered in October ordered in August. Another hasn't been delivered at all - 5 weeks at this stage.
