You can enrol and vote at any voting place, including on election day. You'll need to fill out an enrolment form and a 'special declaration vote' form.

@benchaotica @seawall They've been sent out according to the Electoral Commission but with #NZPost now only delivering in urban areas on three days a week, more people will wait longer. Rural deliveries are still on five days a week delivery so more rural people have reported getting their #EasyVote cards.

TIL voice voting is now available for those who are physically unable to mark a voting paper themselves. You need to register for this, by phoning 0800 028 028 (Vote.nz / Electoral Commission)
However, for those who are physically unable / unwise to attend a polling station to vote in person, you can get someone to collect your voting papers for you. Phone 0800 36 76 56 (Vote.nz / Electoral Commission)
If that is not an option that works for you, contact your local Electorate Manager, who is able to arrange #PostalVoting papers, upon noting your reason. Your Electorate Office details should be in your #EasyVote pack, and can be found here:

Getting onto the Electorate Manager was easy, after a long, unnecessary run-around from Electoral Commission (four calls later…). Information on vote.nz is not that terrific for disabled voters.
