Emperor’s Children Infractor, kitbashed and slightly embiggened from a Mk5 marine. This is the 6th, 7th…maybe 8th or 9th try at a colour scheme. I’m finally satisfied with the shade of purple and applying it with a sponge makes it easy and quick. Will tweak the amount of black and metals but happy with this guy as a starting point! Steadily chipping away on the Phoenician. Today it was base colours for the armour and starting on the base.

And on the base I'm placing a few clear resin crystals. I am so stoked about using those for the first time! They look so pretty and I am planning to tint them purple and blue. A friend recommended them to me and I immediately bought some.

This should be the last of my plain white #miniatures for a while. Just wanted to share that I got my #roguetrader space marine #renegades primed, as well as the bulk of my “sci-fi” bases for my #spacehulk #minis! Can't wait to get these all painted up for some Space Hulk. Not entirely sure what I'm doing with the renegades, but they'll be #emperorschildren. I'm just trying to get some models from Rogue Trader and the 2nd edition #chaos codex together.

I'm really glad the Emperor's Children-release is behind us, because the wave of horrible and truly unoriginal memes made by people with zero lore-knowledge is ebbing away.
