Only 72 km in the sun today, 101 km left for tomorrow or tomorrow and the day after. Probably the latter, getting up early is impossible at the moment.

Going south always feels warmer, even if it is only a few km to #Burgenland. Will repeat that tomorrow. 101 km would be a ride to Eisenstadt or Pamhagen with a little detour or a bike ride from the train station instead of being lazy and taking the S-Bahn.

#festive500 gestern: meine erste Etappe, Magdeburg-Havelberg, viel Nebel, 111 km + 6 km für den Weg zum Bahnhof.

Another 93 km today. 173 km left for the #festive500.

The "Neue Donau" is partly frozen, the small meanders in the national park as well.

A combination of low sun and high trees from #Vienna to #Hainburg. In summer I hate that part of the EV6 for its heat, wind and the fact that you can see for 20 km straight. Would have liked a bit of that heat on my frozen fingers today, but still hate the 20 km straight.

We are looking at the clear blue sky, grey and brown trees, frozen water and the frozen river bank.

Approximately one hour after sunset in Burgenland near Lake Neusiedler See. It is already dark, but a broad reddish stripe marks the horizon.

The ground is completely black, the sky red-orange-blue. A windmill marks the fact that we are on the 'Windradweg', the 'Windmill cycle trail' or the 'windy cycle trail' (I suppose the pun was intended).

Zaskakująco dobrze idzie. Zostały cztery dni i niecałe dwieście kilometrów, więc jeśli pogoda się nie zepsuje, powinienem dać radę.
