@dpiponi the original Xerox Alto was less powerful than the original Macintosh, I would say. It cost a lot more because the technology was older (1970s instead of 80s). The Alto's successor the Star was also slower than the Mac. It had a hard drive rather than a floppy though.

This is a reminder that #LeslieFish was transphobic, islamophobic and anti-immigration. She didn't keep her views to herself and expressed them very publicly to let people know about them.
So despite her HUGE and valuable contributions to #filk and #fanfics and #fandom in general, not a nice person.

I've been thinking about sorting out copyright stuff for ages. But can't find the right model.
I don't want to give AI companies or politicians permission (in the not very likely scenario they'd want to).
But I'm happy for filkers to use my lyrics or stories.
Creative commons doesn't appear to allow this. Either no one can use my work for commercial use or all can.
Any ideas?
