I was thinking about yesterday's shit, and some of the speeches I had the misfortune of hearing.

One guy — and I'm just going to refer to his child with gender neutral language — talked about his relationship with his child, who he clearly believes to have chosen "figuring out who they are" as a way to fuck with his head.

First the child said they were ace.
He replied that not having sexual feelings was to be expected at their age.

Then the child declared they were same-sex attracted, and he patted himself on the back for telling them he was cool with that.

Then the child said they were trans.
And he crowed about telling the child that they would always be "his little [ assigned sex at birth-designated term ]".

And the crowd cheered!

Now, I'm not a parent but:
If your relationship with your child involves regularly pulling "power moves" like invalidating what they tell you, then your problem isn't the schools.

If you're cheering that shit on...
Yep, maybe look inward.
