I went to my shop with the blind intention of doing "something". Turned the heat on and stared at the bike til it was warm enough and decided to make an adapter for my clutch lever. I had two levers so I made the adapter that would work with either. Then fiddled around making another adapter for like an hour only to use the lever that didn't need the second adapter. BUT a successful clutch lever adaptation. This may or may not interest anyone at all but it involved more time than I care to admit on my lathe. I'm happy with the new lever tho. The pic with two levers, the big chunky one was the one I was getting rid of. The adapter is the little stepped cone thing. Bye February, I barely knew thee.

My #FunADay lately has been packing for my move tomorrow. Kinda fell off the creative fun but getting ready to leave this once-great-turned-awful living situation is fun enough for me

And that’s a wrap for my Feb 2025 #funADay doodles! It was fun! In case anyone wants to know, I drew them first thing every day of Feb with my morning coffee & they each took about 30 to 45 min to do. They’re on 4.5-inch pieces of standard copy paper & I used a Staedtler Mars Lumograph HB pencil with the occasional eraser-stroke.

Ok final #funaday . Yep I fell off of everything as soon as my foot healed lol. That's ok I'll still provide some tracks of this fun-a-day at a later point. And I hope you enjoyed the disrock haikus.

#FunADay Day 28 - With that, I've successfully completed my 28th day of February. I feel like I really went for it on this one, combining a bunch of different PS tricks I've picked up over the last year or so. Couldn't have done it without this truly menacing BOB art by Mark Powell, or the Black Lodge wallpaper cooked up by Reddit user justaspuga.

BOB is by far one of the most evil characters I've cooked a card up for in this game (though I'm sure actor Frank Silva was a sweetie, RIP).

Went to a gift exchange dinner and walked into a room full of people I've never met in person before. Everyone was so nice and friendly and it took all of 30 seconds to not feel like a stranger. Had tamales for the first time, met the famous Pep, and hung out in a kitchen with a car hood. Thanks @choppersnsnacks!

#FunADay every six weeks or so I host a dinner party where I cook, people come and eat and talk and leave. This time I made a million tamales, frijoles colorados and rice, avocado salad thing, and tomatillo sauce. ALSO I arranged it so that this was a handmade gift exchange. So people signed up in January and I assigned them a person and then everyone came, ate, exchanged gifts, met new people, went home! It was very nice and I love seeing all these different people meeting each other and just having a nice time. Every dinner party there has been at least one person I've never met and it's great. They are always an open invite to anyone. Anyways, my heart and belly are full.

#FunADay Day 27 - Back to my girl Ayla for the second to last card of the month. A nice and easy personal BM coded special that I tried to make a lot more complicated before realizing what I was doing has been done a million times hahaha.

Sometimes, you can't reinvent the wheel man! Sometimes, it's so far back in time, they haven't even made it yet!

#FunADay 25 recap: I finished reading “Housekeeping” by Marilynn Robinson, which so far is my favourite book of 2025. I also watched “The Battle of Algiers” for the first time and I cried my eyes out. Likewise my favourite movie of the year so far. I couldn’t help thinking of Palestine, and the stories my grandfather would tell me about growing up under the french occupation in Morocco. A very special and important film, I think.
