I plugged into a Pocket Rocket fuzz pedal made by Analogwise Pedals with old germanium transistors dating from the Cold War to record “Ey Iran,” an old patriotic song composed by Ruhollah Khaleqi. My 1974 Twin Reverb was melting, and I recorded this in one take, directly onto two tracks of an old 4-track cassette from the 80s:

#NowPlaying Blue Cheer's 'Vincebus Eruptum' from 1968. Thanks to @wendigo for tipping me off to this. I think I'd heard a cover of Summertime Blues but never this whole record. It's rad as FUCK. Like a more psych Sonics or almost Kinks, with some great, extreme fuzz too- bluesy psych rock or "acid rock". Mudhoney definitely took a cue or two from these guys, too. A KILLER listen.
