Interstellar Visitor 3I/ATLAS Is Either an Extraterrestrial Spacecraft… or Something Much, Much Stranger

Interstellar visitor 3I-ATLAS has certainly outshone its cosmic predecessors in terms of strangeness, having racked up an impressive list of anomalous behaviors and features that make 2017’s ‘Oumuamua and 2019’s 2I/Borisov seem downright ordinary, illustrating that either what we don’t know about the universe runs much deeper than we assume, or that 3I/ATLAS may be an artificial object from an extraterrestrial civilization, as Galileo Project lead Avi Loeb speculates.

Speculation abounds. But if authorities had real evidence of 31-Atlas as an extraterrestrial spacecraft, would the public be told? I doubt it.

A few decades ago you’d not have expected to see this. At least here partisanship has taken a backseat to more typical science debate. Schermer has actually joined the #GalileoProject and the skeptic role has taken on more of a conservative philosophy of science flavor.

Denn es gibt auch den Soforttod, wenn man rote Kabel durchtrennt. Es gibt aber auch Hilfsmittel, die man in einer Entschärfung freischalten kann. Hat Spaß gemacht. Man sollte, wie bei die Crew, eine feste Runde haben, damit man möglichst viele Runden spielen kann, um auch die letzte Kiste öffnen zu können und die 68 Level zu schaffen. Mit neuen startet man eben immer von vorn, um in das Spiel einzuführen.

Aus dem Galileo Projekt Observatorium liegen inzwischen die Ergebnisse aus dem ersten 5-monatigen Probelauf vor. von etwa 500.000 aufgezeichneten Flugspuren verbleiben am Ende 144 mehrdeutige, die nicht eindeutig identifiziert werden konnten, aber "wahrscheinlich alltägliche Objekte" sind. Beispielhafte Aufnahmen zeigen diverse identifizierungen herkömmlicher Objekte am Himmel.
The first results from the Galileo Project ObservatApproximately half a million trajectories of aerial objects were reconstructed during the five months observing period. 144 trajectories remained ambiguous. These are likely mundane objects but cannot be further identified without distance information.

Rudi war heute schon wieder da. Diesmal für das #GalileoProject, die Verwaltungs-Abhandel-Schlacht #HeldenMüssenDraussenBleiben und #BackToTheFuture

Ich schaue heute in meine App und dachte mir: nur noch 7 #Brettspiele spielen und ich habe mein 10*10 voll? Dann setze ich mich noch dran.
Heute zwei Runden #GalileoProject gespielt, eine Partie #Akropolis und noch zwei Spiele #nochmal.
Galileo Project leider beide Male nicht gewonnen, aber war trotzdem gut. Jedes Mal fehle mir ein Roboter. Zusätzlich habe ich die drei Auszeichnungen nicht geschafft. @brettspiele 1/3

Heute noch kurz #solo #Brettspiele gespielt. Mal bewusst probiert schnell ein Spiel zu beenden. Da gab es bei #GalileoProject keine hohe Punktzahl, dafür aber mal eine andere taktische Facette des Spiels kennen gelernt. Ich habe diesmal versucht Geld Eintreiber zu sein, um damit Roboter günstiger und am Ende des Spiels kostenfrei zu kaufen. 44 Punkte habe ich erreicht und das Spiel beendet (10 Roboter), bevor Jove, der Automa, das Ende des Spiels eingeläutet hätte.

Irgendwie sehr abstrakt und trotz der Weltraum-Thematik fühlt es sich wenig nach Weltraum an. Trotzdem sind die Mechanismen interessant verzahnt, aber man muss erst mal ins Spiel reinkommen.

Heute war kein guter Spieleabend. 1. #solo. 2. Häufig schlecht gespielt.
#cascadia in der ersten Runde. Es geht bergauf mit den Punkten. Heute waren es 93! #GalileoProject war heute eine Nullnummer. Beide Parteien verloren. Einmal knapp (es fehlte eine Errungenschaft), zweite war schlecht. Aber seht selbst.
