The one google service I still return to regularly is Google Scholar. It is very useful still, but I fear it will soon bend the knee to the Christifascist Orange Grifter and his loathsome handlers. So I would be happy to get rid of it. What are your best alternatives?

I always use #DuckDuckGo to find a citation dictionary and then, if possible, the source on archive.org, etc.
In most cases, quotes are not correct + I often get interesting pieces of #history.
At times, #GoogleScolar is useful.
