bazı kitaplar var, hangi sıfatı düşünsem -şahane, muhteşem vd- yeterli gelmiyor, bu da böyle. bu yüzden tek diyeceğim çok etkileyici roman, iyi edebiyat. epey zamandır bu kadar sade ama bir o kadar özgün ve güçlü bir roman okumamıştım, hele de ele aldığı dönem itibariyle, büyük değişimlerin kişisel benlikleri, kişiler arası ilişkileri derinden sarstığı kökten değiştirdiği yılları anlatma ve hikayeleme şeklini düşünürsek. #GrahamSwift #AnnelerinKutsalPazarı

His barren wife steals a child thinking it is a gift from God.
In the novel, water or alienated water are everywhere
Flood arrives unexpectedly and everything we take for granted becomes a lie
In the end when you no longer have strength, submerged, you abandon yourself,the water embraces you and drives you far
