Ja & es sieht leider nicht gut aus: Umso strenger besonders dualistische Gruppen wie Old Order #Amish oder #Haredim ihre eigenen Kinder von säkularer #Bildung fernhalten - umso geringer ist der Anteil derer, die später aussteigen. I have my issues with #haredim and their social politics, but those willing to stand against Jewish #nationalism are on the right side of this issue.

C’est pourquoi les trajectoires des groupes d’immigrant·es ont considérablement divergé au fil du temps. Alors qu’ils arrivaient avec des profils socio-économiques similaires, un écart important est apparu, les Juifs arabes étant confronté·es à une discrimination systémique et à des obstacles à l’intégration. I wonder, how #Israel is planning to defend itself once the #Haredim are the majority of the population and there are too few non-Haredi men and women to join the #military. Especially, as the Haredim appear to be the fastest growing community in Israel society.
