Learned about another colleague who left academia after 20 years of fix-termed contracts, repeating periods of distance relationships, repeating times of unemployment, economical insecurity and chasing the promise of making it to a permanent position if s*he only keeps fighting. Makes me sad.

Für mich klingt das nach heißer Luft. Was Bär als "Rundum sorglos"-Paket beschreibt, ist an zahlreichen Hochschulen bereits Standard als Dual Career oder ähnlich. KiTa-Plätze, Jobs für Partner*innen lösen #WissSystemFehler wie fehlende Dauerstellen und #WissZeitVG nicht. Damit fehlt es ausländischen Wissenschaftler*innen ebenso wie #IchBinHanna #IchBinReyhan an existentieller Sicherheit. Mal sehen, wie viele das lockt.

Wann kümmert sie sich um #IchBinHanna #IchBinReyhan und überhaupt die menschenunwürdige Bedingungen unter denen hierzulande allzuoft Wissen geschaffen wird? So schlecht kann es in den USA gar nicht werden, dass eine deutsche Uni und Deutschland verlockend erscheinen.
